Game Rules:
Players and Cards
Oh Hell is best played with 4 players, utilizing two 32-card decks with the Ace ranking the highest and 7 the lowest. A trump suit is randomly chosen from Hearts, Diamonds, Spades, and Clubs.
Number of Starting Cards
The game consists of multiple hands, beginning with each player dealt 5-10 cards.
Objective of the Game
The goal is to make an accurate bid on the number of tricks you believe you can achieve. Players bid sequentially, with the first player to bid changing in each round. Subsequently, the number of cards dealt decreases by one in every new round.
Trick Taking Rules
A trump suit is selected at random for each round. Players must follow the suit of the first card played unless they do not possess that suit. In such cases, they may play a trump or any other card.
Game Scoring
Each trick won counts as one point, and there’s an additional 10-point bonus for fulfilling an initial bid.
Immerse yourself in this strategic challenge—mastering Oh Hell rewards patience and skill in equal measure.
